I wanted to create a heavily textured, colourful picture of a daffodil with an expressionist feel.

The painting measures 50cm in length, 60cm in height and 1.5cm in width, and is unframed. 
I added texture using moulding paste and crackle to add interest to the canvas, then Golden heavy body acrylic paint.
